For 202, M.I.A. initiated a new 2nd Saturday Volunteerism Day and 3rd Thursday Collection Day. Everey 2nd Saturday M.I.A. volunteers at a specific homelessness agency. Every 3rd Thursday, M.I.A. asks you to collect nonperishable food, diapers, an gently used clothing, footwear and linens. M.I.A. has nine board members around the Denver Metro area that will gather from you and bring to the homeless agencies we support. Please contact us at donations@MusiciansInAction.org.
For Saturday, 3/10/12, M.I.A. will be assisting Joshua Station, a transitional housing program for homeless families. More details to follow soon. If you would like to participate, contact info@MusiciansInAction.org for more details.
